The 2023 Indonesian Masters Golf Tournament, part of the International Series of the Asian Tour, will take place on November 16 to 19. The tournament will be held at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club, Halim, Jakarta.
This year’s tournament will be the 11th Indonesian Masters. The event offers prizes worth US$1.5 million in total.
“We are very happy that the Asian Tour still entrusts the BNI Indonesian Masters as one of their flagship tournaments. This is one of the biggest achievements for us since we first held this big tournament 12 years ago,” Indonesian Masters’ initiator Jimmy Masrin said at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, September 13.
The Indonesian Masters will be this year’s tenth and final leg of the Asian Tour International Series. This event will determine who wins The International Series Order of Merit, who will earn a spot in next year’s LIV Golf League.
Around 144 golfers are expected to participate in the event. As host, Indonesia gets 12 slots.
“Twelve Indonesian golfers [will particapate] including professionals and amateurs. The amateurs are taken from PGI, so we will follow their amateur ranking. In the professional ranking, there are 2, 3, 4 players who always take part in the Asian Tour circuit,” said Jimmy.
