After three days of play and 72 holes of competition – including 36 on Sunday – Kalle Samooja, Kieran Vincent and Jinichiro Kozuma have advanced from the inaugural LIV Golf Promotions event at Abu Dhabi Golf Club and will have a spot on a team for the 2024 season. The PGA Tour, in a surprising decision, will let its players participate in an upcoming LIV Golf event. As first reported by Sports Illustrated’s Alex Miceli and confirmed by GOLF.com on Saturday, Tour players can play without penalty next month in the LIV Golf Promotions event, which will award its top three finishers a spot in the 48-player LIV tour next year.
